Monday
AAVTC-GDP-10 Demonstrate knowledge of file management and file
formats and digital file preparation.
The specific file format we are covering is known as the
animated GIF. GIF stands for Graphics Interchange Format. Compuserve originally
created the file format. GIFs were an easy way to present image data for slower
connections (such as dial-up) because they limited file size via compression
and fixed color palettes. Animated GIFs, though, store information for multiple
images and present them in sequence to create the illusion of animation.
