Week of 8/7 to 8/9

WEDNESDAY:
The students will get an Overview of the Graphic Design Class.
We will cover the following:

• The creative side of Graphic Design
• The Technical side of Graphic Design
• The Printing industry
• Rules, grading and project deadlines

THURSDAY:
The students will explore the printing industry.
We will cover the following:

• How the printing industry is changing
• Statistics and fact about the printing industry
• Different types of Printing
• History and inventions of printing

FRIDAY:
The students will explore the creative process.
We will cover the following:

• Brainstorming an idea
• Thumbnail sketches
• Rough sketches
• Comprehensive sketches

The students will begin to make sketches for two upcoming projects.
