Students will photograph their product and create an advertisement.

Product / Package Design

Students MUST bring their own packages. The Teacher DOES NOT provide Packages. For example, if a student has planned to create a new drink, then he/she must bring a bottle to create the label for the new product.

Package Design Project

This week we will be working on Package Design. Each student will create a unique product, and design a package for that product. The Following is an example of a package design in progress:

Elements and Principles of Design

Contrast, Balance, Unity, Pattern, Rhythm, Emphasis and Movement

Line, Shape, Form, Color, Value, Space, and Texture

Business Set using Adobe Illustrator

This is an example of a postcard being created in Adobe Illustrator.

This week we will create a Business Set:

* Business Card

* Letterhead

* Envelope

* Postcard

* Note card

* Promo Button

Adobe Illustrator

This Week we will use the vector (Drawing) program called Adobe Illustrator. Eventually we will create a business set (ACCT-IGD-4) and (ACCT-IGD-10). On Friday 3-5-10 we will take a quiz on the tools. I have enclosed a toolset in case you loose the one I gave to you in class.
