Screen printing continues for GDP students. Students finish marketing products, advertisements and presentations. Iron-on transfer process will be introduced. IGD Students begin work on ideas for Iron on transfer process. AGD will do a Career Cruizer follow up activity related to careers in graphic design. CTAE  show signs are in production to be installed on  3/26. Selected Screen printing projects are ongoing as students / groups take their turns.

TUESDAY
Graphic Design article reading activity. Design students complete cover page ideas for career booklet. Students research careers in the design field. Students complete career inventory to see where their career interests lie. Screen printing continues for GDP students. Students finish marketing products, advertisements and presentations. CTAE show signs are in production to be installed on 3/26. Selected Screen printing projects are ongoing as students / groups take their turns.

WEDNESDAY
Screen printing continues for GDP students. Students finish marketing products, advertisements and presentations. CTAE Fantasy show signs are in production to be installed today. Selected Screen printing projects are ongoing as students / groups take their turns.

THURSDAY

Students will assist with the clean-up from the CTAE show. Show signs are removed and lab is cleaned. Studio projects continue. Common Assessment review.

FRIDAY

Students will be placed in collaborative groups. Each group will be given a famous graphic designer. Each group will research the selected designer and complete a multi-media presentation on the designer. Iron-on transfer and screen printing projects continue. Career activities for career booklet will continue. Selected Screen printing projects are ongoing as students / groups take their turns. Common Assessment is given.

Application of the elements and principles through vocabulary building, synthesis and practical exercises. IGD students are working on a graphic digital composite. All classes are creating a special Photoshop composite for display at the CTAE Expo.

Marketing projects include: the product, the ad campaign and a multi-media presentation. Each will be presented to the instructor for a grade. Text composition review, as text composition assessment will be given on Friday. CTAE Expo show signs are in production to be installed on March 25. Selected Screen printing projects are ongoing as students / groups take their turns.

TUESDAY

CTAE Expo show signs, flyers, and programs  are in production. Other CTAE show assignments are ongoing in conjunction with the theme. Students will work on both projects: Marketing and Cereal Box Project. Selected Screen printing projects are ongoing as students / groups take their turns.

WEDNESDAY

CTAE Expo Show judges cards, programs and certificates are designed. Other CTAE show assignments are ongoing in conjunction with the theme. Students will work on both projects: Marketing and Cereal Box Project. Selected Screen printing projects are ongoing as students / groups take their turns.

THURSDAY

CTAE Expo Show judges cards, programs and certificates are printed and folded. Other CTAE show assignments are ongoing in conjunction with the Fantasy theme. Students will work on both projects: Marketing and Cereal Box Project. Selected Screen printing projects are ongoing as students / groups take their turns.. Students will work on both projects: Marketing and International Project. All Art History composites  must be mounted for display on black construction paper.

FRIDAY

Marketing and Cereal Box  assignments are ongoing. Students are completing activities of ethics and copyright as it pertains to the Graphic Design field. Key terms are identified. Other CTAE show assignments are ongoing in conjunction with the Fantasy theme. Students will work on both projects: Marketing and Cereal Box Project. Selected Screen printing projects are ongoing as students / groups take their turns. Clean-up of the room from the production of the CTAE Expo show is done, as needed.
