Subject: Output Processes (GDP)
Topic: Iron on Transfer and Elements and Principles of Design


Curriculum standard(s):

AAVTC-GDP-4 Understand and demonstrate the fundamental basic elements and principles of design.


AAVTC-GDP-6 Explore color and the variety of methods in which it can be applied. Interpret and apply color models through graphic manipulations. Identify the output issues involving color and demonstrate the proper usage.




AAVTC-GDP-9 Identify and demonstrate a working knowledge of illustration as it pertains to the design field.

Work Sessions: Thumbnail Sketches
Sketch to computer
Print sketch in reverse
Cut design to fit
Use heat press to attach trnafer to shirt
Peel off backing after shirt cools

Differentiation: More intricate design for accelrated students. More colors for multi color registration
Peer helpers for struggling students

Specialized Instruction/Modification:

Accelerated students will create a front and back of the shirt.


Assessment:
Each step must be accomplished to produce T-shirt design
